Synopsis

Desperation is the Mother of Invention

At the turn of the 20th century, swaggering inventor

Hubert Moss is in the midst of a dry spell that threatens to ruin him.

Aaron Serotsky is a multi-award winning actor working  in film, television, theater and all manner of digital media.  His recent credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, House of Cards,  Homeland, The  Blacklist,  Bull, Madam Secretary, Elementary, The Good Wife, and films like One Hit Wonder , The  Business Meeting, and A Kid Like Jake,  starring Jim Parsons and  Claire Danes.  His New York stage appearances include the Drama Desk nominated FINKS at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, as well as the original Broadway production of August: Osage County , winner of multiple Tony Awards.

Bryan Burton is a  New York-based actor doing standout work in film, television theater and voice. He recently appeared in a recurring role opposite John Turturro on HBO's Emmy Award-winning The Night Of , The Good Cop, and was a regular cast member on the Adult Swim comedy Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter.  He has also appeared in numerous film productions, including The Post  opposite Tom Hanks, and Money Monster  opposite George Clooney  and Jack O'Connell.  He recently wrapped principal photography on A Name Without a Place in which he plays the lead role opposite Downton Abbey's  Elizabeth McGovern.

Frank Todaro is one of the top commercial filmmakers working today. His  hilarious subtle  performance-driven work for FedEx, ESPN, Nike, Mercedes, GEICO,

Axe and other iconic brands has won him every  industry award there is, including Emmy awards and Cannes Lions. His work is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and his ESPN SporstCenter work has been recognized as the best campaign of the decade. He’s also got a keen eye for talent, working with top comedic actors in their earliest professional work.   John Krasinski,  Jake Johnson, Tony Hale, Jim Parsons, Matt Walsh,  Simon Helberg and many others all starred in Todaro's commercials before landing starring roles in series .

Production Company

Led by executive producers Robert Fernandez and Dan Levinson, Moxie Pictures is a world class production company, creating award winning commercials, branded content, television shows and feature films.

Most recently, Moxie produced the acclaimed mini-series Wormwood for Netflix, as well as  Errol Morris's newest documentary feature, American Dharma. Other credits include the films Dina, The Unknown Known, Alpha Go, Austenland, Tabloid, The Mend, 

and  reality series Arranged, and Ice

Cold Gold. Prior to that, Fernandez produced Metallica: Some kind of Monster and The Fog of War, which

won the Academy Award  for best 

documentary feature.
